SKIPPY® Peanut Butter French Toast with Caramelized Bananas

Caramelized bananas may sound extravagant, but once you taste how amazing they are on SKIPPY® Peanut Butter French Toast with Caramelized Bananas, you'll be glad you took the extra step. This breakfast may seem extra fancy, but it's super easy to make and so wonderful to eat.

Ingredients

1/2 cup SKIPPY® Creamy Peanut Butter

1/2 cup heavy whipping cream

3 large eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 tablespoon honey

1/4 cup butter, melted divided

2 tablespoons light brown sugar

2 bananas, sliced

8 (1-inch thick) slices French bread

Directions

  1. In food processor, combine peanut butter and next 4 ingredients; process until smooth.
  2. Transfer mixture to a shallow dish.
  3. Prepare griddle for medium heat. Brush griddle with 2 tablespoons butter.
  4. Dip bread slices in peanut butter mixture, shaking off excess and cook 2 to 3 minutes on each side or until golden.
  5. Keep warm.
  6. In medium bowl, stir together remaining 2 tablespoons melted butter, brown sugar and banana slices.
  7. Cook banana slices on griddle until browned.
  8. Spoon over bread slices.

Peanut Maple Drizzle:

  1. In small microwave safe bowl, combine ½ cup maple syrup and ½ cup SKIPPY® Creamy Peanut Butter.
  2. Heat on HIGH 1 minute or until heated through, stirring to combine.
  3. Serve over Peanut Butter French Toast.
