Ingredients
- 455g (1lb) ground beef
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 115g mature cheddar cheese, sliced
- 135g SKIPPY® CREAMY PEANUT BUTTER
- 340g maple-cured bacon
- 4 wholemeal burger buns, split and toasted
Directions
- Prepare the barbecue to a medium-high heat.
- In a large bowl, combine the beef, salt and pepper; mix gently. Form the beef into 4 burgers; barbecue until cooked to the desired point. Top each burger with 2 slices of cheese, if desired.
- In a microwaveable bowl, microwave the peanut butter for 30 seconds.
- Place the burgers on the bottom halves of the buns. Generously spread warm peanut butter on each. Top with 2 to 4 slices of bacon; cover with the top halves of the buns.
